Hanlin Academy is a non-profit organization of people from different nations, who are engaged in the edication and research of qigong, astrology, natural healing, philosophy and holistic development.

The name of Hanlin Academy comes from ancient China and means "Forest of Writing Feathers". In the early ages the Academy was an elite cultural and scientific institution where astronomy, philosophy, medicine, culture and art were developed for the needs of the Chinese dynasties.

In the later history, admittance to Hanlin Academy had become a honour bestowing great prestige. The most outstanding recipients of the highest level of the governmental exams were sent to Hanlin Academy to collect and research the cultural and historical heritage. In this way, Hanlin Academy extended the frames of its activities beyond the governing dynasty and in a certain sense it attained a national significance and was referred as the highest academic institution in the history of China.

Today, Hanlin Academy aims to regenerate the integrative approach of antiquity towards knowledge in order to enable the ancient culture to attain new meaning. In addition, Hanlin Academy expands the frames of its activities in thematic and spatial perspectives and strives to integrate the values of universal culture from the antiquity to the present for the future development.

As a non-profit institution, Hanlin Academy does not pursue any political, religious, national or group interests. Its activities are directed to broaden the knowledge of the necessary harmony between man and Nature and toward the formation of a new level of thinking.

Hanlin Academy is engaged in educational, research and publishing activities by organizing lectures, seminars and conferences and publishing books.
